The Voice Season 3: Best Performance of the Night From Battle Round 6 on Oct. 23, 2012 (VIDEO)

On the final episode of The Voice Season 3 battle rounds last night, we saw three incredibly powerful performances. Although Blake Shelton’s team snuck in one classic rock hit, the other two songs were pop hits.

Hands down, Team Cee Lo’s Chevonne and Avery Wilson closed out the show with the best performance of the night, truly battling it out to David Guetta’s “Titanium.” The incredible duo of powerful singers pushed the boundaries of both the song and their voices, harmonizing perfectly, hitting killer high notes, and also showing off some smooth moves on stage.

We were most impressed in the balance of the song. Although they are both over-the-top, spectacular singers, neither one was overpowered by the other. Their complementary performance truly felt like a duet, yet there was still a competitive edge.

So it came as no surprise that both vocalists advanced in the competition. Their coach, Cee Lo, crowned Avery (“the total package”) the winner, but Christina went in for her final steal with Chevonne directly after. We can’t wait to see them both in the knockout rounds next week!
