Adam Levine on Returning to The Voice in 2013: “I’m Not Going Anywhere!”

Though he just finished touring through Asia with his band Maroon 5 and recently announced their North American tour, Adam Levine has no plans to take time off from The Voice.

The sexy singer recently told Access Hollywood that he was busy filming both Season 3 and 4 of the show. And though his Season 3 co-stars Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are stepping away from the show for the spring season, Adam’s not giving up his big red chair anytime soon.

“No, ‘cause then there’s a chance that someone could replace me and be better than me and then, I’d be fired,” he said. “I’m not going anywhere!”

We doubt they’d be able to find a better (or cuter) judge than Adam, but the tattooed frontman isn’t taking any chances.

“Who knows what’s going to happen,” he continued. “[Christina and Cee Lo are] always welcomed back. But that’s what they say.”

The “they” in question are The Voice’s producers, like NBC’s Mark Burnett, who have informed the four original coaches that they’ll always have a place on the show.

Cee Lo has already announced that he will definitely be returning for the Fall 2013 season, and Christina has hinted that she intends to return sometime in the near future after she finishes promoting her new album, Lotus.

What do you think of Adam as a coach on The Voice? Does he have anything to worry about? Weigh in below!
