On a scale of 1 to Angelina Jolie, Kristen Stewart is pretty high up there when it comes to fame — thanks to Twilight. So, she should know by now that every sound bite will be exploited, right?
Well, in a recent interview in Japan while on her Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 press tour, KStew answered a fan question about loving two people at the same time... onscreen. For Twinoobs, Kristen’s character, Bella, is torn between her lifelong friendship with werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and her vampire boyfriend Edward (Robert Pattinson). Although she chooses Edward, she has ish with hurting her BFF.
“As a woman I think it’s really important not to discredit feelings. There weren’t too many difficulties with the whole love triangle thing,” she said about her character’s feelings.
“I mean, she needs Jacob in her life. He needs her in the same way…. if you can get past conventions and what everyone else is thinking then you can have what you want. They get to a point where they get to have everything and that’s nice,” the star continued.
Even though she was talking about the movie, it's not hard to read into her statement. Considering she’s gotten even more time in the spotlight thanks to her affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders while she was in a relationship with Rob, it seems like a bold thing to announce publicly. Just a thought.
