Every TV network is airing some type of reality program, and some of the latest ones may surprise you. Here are five of the strangest reality series coming your way soon:
The Real Exorcist Lifetime will attempt to bring viewers real-life scares on Halloween when it debuts The Real Exorcist on October 31. The show follows Rev. Opposite Worlds Think Survivor, but with a fantasy twist. The Syfy channel picked up Opposite Worlds, a reality competition based on a hit Chilean series in which 20 people divided into two teams compete each week to live in two separate worlds: “The Past” and “The Future.” The former involves caveman-style accommodations, while the latter is billed as a Utopia where anything is possible.
Celebrity Splash Giving a new meaning to the term “washed up,” ABC recently greenlit this diving competition show (based on a runaway hit in the Netherlands) in which celebs perform complex diving routines with the aid and training of professional divers.
Untitled Taxidermy Competition Show AMC picked up this yet-to-be-titled competition series pitting taxidermy professionals against one another, set to air in the beginning of 2013.
