Brooke Burke on Her Halloween Plans: I’m Borrowing a DWTS Costume For Trick or Treating! — Exclusive

Brooke Burke is nothing short of a triple threat — she’s an actress, Dancing with the Stars winner and host, as well as, oh you know, mother to four children! Recently Loop du Loop sat down with Brooke at Field Elementary School in Pasadena, California, where she introduced the brand new Brita Bottle for Kids. There she opened up about her family’s upcoming Halloween fun — turns out it’s their first year going all out with decorations, and she even shared some budget-friendly costume ideas!

Loop du Loop: What are you guys doing for Halloween?
Brooke Burke: This year it's not on a Dancing With the Stars night, so I'm actually going to take the kids trick or treating — and I have all four of my kids this year, and we're going to do some neighborhood trick or treating. We just decorated our house last week for the first time, so that's kind of fun. We got the spider webs and the skeletons and the skulls and the whole deal — not too creepy, not to scare the kids. And I keep looking at the Dancing With the Stars costumes, wondering which one I'll try to borrow for Halloween.

What are your kids going to be?
My 10-year-old is making a handmade Spongebob costume by herself, which is super cool. My oldest doesn't know yet. My son is a devil boy, which I ordered online, and Rain, my kindergartner, wants to be a vampire and has only asked for fake blood and fangs. And I think she's just going to wear black clothes and that was her choice. So I saved a lot of money on that one.

Why haven't you guys decorated the house before? Why was this the first time?
Good question. I think now that my son's 4, now he's really into it, and it’s probably just time. We're really festive around Thanksgiving and Christmas and Hanukah. So I think that Halloween comes and goes really fast. We do pumpkins every year.
