Kristin Cavallari Dishes on How She Got Her Pre-Baby Body Back — Exclusive!
As much as we’d love to hate Kristin Cavallari for giving birth and almost immediately returning to her stellar pre-baby bod, we just have to give the girl props. She makes it look so easy! (Okay, being 25 definitely helps!) So when Wetpaint Entertainment had a chance to speak with the new mom, above all, we had one question on our minds: Just how did she do it? The reality star revealed her secrets and discussed how she’s balancing life as a working mom.
Wetpaint Entertainment: Have you had any irrational fears after giving birth to your baby boy, Cameron? Kristin Cavallari: No, surprisingly, I’ve been very calm. My friends can’t believe I’m not totally neurotic. Since we brought him home, I’ve been really at ease with things. How do you plan on balancing work and new motherhood? Well, right now he has to come with me because I’m breast feeding and he’s still so young. But when he’s a little older after the football season, I’ll be able to leave him with Jay [Cutler, Kristin’s fiancé, the Chicago Bears quarterback]. Do you have a Halloween outfit picked out? Yes, we have a really cute little lion outfit picked out because he’s a Leo. Your body already looks fantastic, almost pre-baby! How did you do it? I’m a healthy eater in general so in my pregnancy I remained that way. I didn’t crave anything. And I started working out again when Cam was 4 weeks old. Doing 20 minutes of cardio and then light weights. Advice for new moms when it comes to losing the baby weight? My advice is, if you can, breastfeed. I know it’s difficult for a lot of mothers but it’s working great for me. It’s the best bet.
