American Idol Season 12 Hopeful Auditions For Randy Jackson at Carrie Underwood Concert (VIDEO)

Will this girl be your next American Idol?

The show won’t be back until January 2013, but fans got an early taste of the talent pool when a Season 12 hopeful auditioned for Randy Jackson live onstage at a Carrie Underwood concert.

The Idol judge dropped by Carrie’s stop in Oklahoma City at the Chesapeake Arena on October 25, 2012, where he called up 18-year-old Danielle Castleman to the stage. The fledgling singer from Sellersburg, Indiana, was nominated by a friend through the show’s “Nominate an Idol” program.

“This girl looks very all-American,” Randy commented. “Why don’t you sing a little bit of ‘All-American Girl’ for us. No pressure, just 10,000 Carrie fans, and Carrie right there.”

“Work it!” Carrie said encouragingly, as Danielle launched into an a capella version of the country superstar’s hit song.

Will she impress Randy enough to officially audition before Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban? Watch the video to find out!
