Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy’s “Break” Could Make For an Awkward Kennedy Gala
Recent news of Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy's breakup (er, "break") may make it awkward for the Kennedys, who announced — just hours before reports of the couple's split hit the interwebs — that they would be honoring the country star at their high-profile December family gala.
Sources told Page Six that the Kennedy family does not believe it’s the end of the road for Conor and Taylor. Instead, they say, the couple is spending time apart as Taylor promotes her new album, “Red”, and Conor finishes his senior year at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts. The source explains that the deans at Conor’s school are not happy about his spotty attendance due to “jetting around with Taylor” on a moment’s notice.
Taylor is certainly busy too, having been recently spotted in New York City for her interview on Katie, scheduled to air today.
The gala, scheduled for Dec 3rd, will be attended by many in the Kennedy clan, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and such celebs as Dianna Agron and Melanie Griffith.
