Liberty Ross and Rupert Sanders Turn Down Dr. Phil, Continue Marriage Counseling Off-Camera: Report
In what would have been ratings gold, the producers for Dr. Phil wanted to get Liberty Ross and Rupert Sanders on the famous therapist’s counseling couch. Radar reports that the talk show wished to feature the high-profile couple trying to patch up their marriage in the wake of the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal that rattled their family of four earlier this year.
A source told Radar, “When Dr. Phil’s producers were putting together a list of potential guests for the new season, Liberty Ross and Rupert Sanders were both mentioned.” The source explains, “But, despite requests to both parties their interview request was denied. Reps for Rupert and Liberty said the two wanted to concentrate on counseling in an effort to make their marriage work.”
Can’t blame the couple for wanting to keep their already too-public pain private — for now all we can do is hope for another bonko Dinah Lohan interview with Dr. Phil. Yeah, we’re still not sure what that was all about.
