What happens when a Real World star stops being polite with police and starts getting real? An arrest, that’s what.
Brandon Swift, 23 — who appeared in The Real World: St. Thomas, the most recent season of the hit MTV reality show — was arrested last night in Philadelphia on charges of disorderly conduct, TMZ reports.
“Swift” — as he calls himself — argued with the cops outside of the Draught Horse Pub near Temple University before being subdued and restrained.
(For the record, Brandon studied business administration and legal studies at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.)
In a cell-phone video of the altercation released by TMZ, which you can view below, the reality star yells, “Don't touch me! Everybody please record it — I'm about to get beat up by a cop!”
TMZ issued an update this morning, saying that Brandon was issued a citation and released, having been ordered to return to court later this month.
On his Facebook page, Brandon posted, “F—k select members of the Temple police... I’m not scared of y’all. [...] I will always say what I gotta say to you dirty, filthy liars and I hope this gets back to y’all! #MiddleFingersUp! Sorry for the rant, all, but it was necessary.”
