True Blood

Two Truths and a Lie With True Blood’s Anna Paquin

Are you ready for a challenge, Truebies? Time for a game of Two Truths and a Lie! If you think you know everything there is to know about True Blood’s perkiest star, Anna Paquin, it’s time to prove it.

We’ll let you in on three “facts” about Anna, and it’s your job to figure out which one is fiction. Think you can handle it?

P.S. No Google searching — we’re onto you!

A. Her gap is fake! Anna’s known for the adorable gap in her teeth — it’s totally her signature! Too bad it’s faker than Arlene’s tan. Anna had her gap “enhanced” after she filmed The Piano because her publicist thought it would make her more unique. Anna says, “It might seem weird that I had my teeth done, but I swear it’s the only cosmetic surgery I’ve had!” So ... we’re supposed to think those fantastic boobs are real?

B. She didn’t learn how to ride a bike until she was almost 30! Anna didn’t exactly have a normal childhood. While other kids were burning ants with magnifying glasses (Anyone? Anyone?) and reading Harry Potter, Anna was busy winning Oscars. Maybe that’s why she never learned how to ride a bike! Anna eventually mastered this childhood basic when she bought herself a Hello Kitty bicycle, much to the embarrassment of everyone around her.

C. She’s a vegetarian! Anna might down plenty of man meat on True Blood, but in real life she’s a kale chip-eating veggie. Kind of a disappointment, right? We had this girl pegged as the type who orders her steak rare, but maybe she gets enough blood on set.
