Cassadee Pope Reveals Her Strategy for The Voice Season 3 Live Shows

The knockout are a thing of the past, and the 20 remaining contestants are all preparing for The Voice Season 3 live shows. The playoff rounds kick off with a bang on Monday, running for three nights.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope after her knockout victory against music teacher Suzanna Choffel to see what she has in store for the next round.

“For the live shows, I want to do something that caters to what kind of genre I do as a solo artist and as a writer,” she said. “I’ve kinda taken a few songs that I’ve done so far and made them into what I like to do which is pop rock. I want to take a song that’s already in that genre so I can really convey what kind of artist I am.”

It makes sense that Cassadee would want to go back to her pop rock roots. Her popularity rose as frontwoman of her band, Hey Monday, and is only growing through her time on The Voice.
