Robert Pattinson on Meeting Kristen Stewart and Hilarious Advice For His Younger Self

Robert Pattinson needs to do more comedies. He has a wicked sense of humor, it just needs the right outlet. Rob did some reminiscing during Thursday's press conference for the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2.

According to E! Online, Rob compared meeting Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to meeting the Harry Potter cast when he was cast in the fourth film, Goblet of Fire. He was starstruck by the Potter crew, and felt the same about his Twilight co-stars, “even though I'd only seen Kristen in a few things," Rob said. "It's funny to see people get humanized. Because with Dan [Radcliffe], Rupert [Grint] and Emma [Watson], I still see them as like massively famous people. It's strange to have gone through the same experience with Taylor and Kristen as well."

So if he could go back in time, what advice would he give to that younger self? "Start drinking vodka instead of beer," Rob joked. "And try to get a six-pack as early as possible and you'll be a much more successful actor."

Ha! Maybe a more successful sex symbol, but not necessarily a more successful actor. After all, Taylor has a very impressive six-pack, but he’s not exactly Daniel Day-Lewis either. Then again, Danny D-L rocked an impressive torso back when he was in The Last of the Mohicans. So maybe Rob is right — maybe a six-pack is the ticket to future acting success. Hit the gym, boys!

On a related note, check out Rob, Kristen and Taylor’s recent interview with MTV in the video below. This is reportedly the first time Rob and Kristen have been seen on video together since the whole "scandal" emerged.
