Does Nick Jonas Diss Miley Cyrus in the New Jonas Brothers Song? We Have the Answer!
UPDATE: In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Nick Jonas confirmed that the song is, in fact, about his relationship with Miley.
Is Nick Jonas still "burnin' up" for Miley Cyrus?
The Jonas Brothers played a sold-out show at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on Thursday, where they performed all their old hits and debuted three new songs. One of the new ones, entitled "Wedding Bells," just might be about unresolved feelings between Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus, according to Perez Hilton.
The lyrics in the songs appear to be about an ex-girlfriend saying that she's going to marry a new guy, and that she really wants her ex to meet him. So could this have been what Miley told Nick when she got engaged to Liam Hemsworth? And here we thought Taylor Swift was the only person who writes songs about famous exes!
Here are the lyrics so you can judge for yourself:
"She says, can you keep a secret A ceremony set for June I know it's a rush but I just love him so much I hope that you can meet him soon"
Hmm. It definitely appears that this could be about Miley, who dated Nick for a year and a half from 2006 to 2007. However, that certainly doesn't mean that Nick necessarily still has feelings for her — or does it?
To paraphrase one of Miley's songs, it's safe to say that Miley is one person who Nick just couldn't tame.
