Among their many projects is Civilianaire Boys' Club, a movie they are producing with their small indie film company CASM. But they need your help first.
That’s right, Truebies — your favorite couple wants you to help make their movie!
Anna and Stephen’s friend, Matt Larkin, wrote the film, and recently posted on Indiegogo (which is an open funding platform for creative, entreprenurial, and cause campaigns) asking for funding help. Even though True Blood pays well, this comedic short film only has a $20K budget.
So, to raise the necessary money to make this “robbery gone wrong” film, their company is offering some awesome rewards, including discussing one of your projects, scripts, or ideas with Anna, Stephen, and the rest of the team for an hour ($500), attending the star-studded screening ($250), being in the film ($400), being credited as a producer ($750), or the best of the best: a personalized voicemail from Ms. Paquin herself ($1,000).
These rewards are limited, though, and funding ends on Nov. 14, so if you’re interested, head over to the Civilianaire Boys' Club’s IndieGoGo page and donate today. If you miss out on the top prizes, you can also give smaller amounts for screenings of the film, your name in the credits, or a copy of the movie.
