Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore’s Vinny Helps Clean Up Staten Island After Hurricane Sandy (PHOTO)

The string of stories about Jersey Shore cast members helping out in the wake of Hurricane Sandy continues!

Last week, we reported that JWOWW got hands-on helping to clean up in Jersey, while her fiance Roger Mathews actually went jet skiing around the town they live in, Toms River, to help those stuck in flooded areas. Snooki, meanwhile, raided her closet for clothes to donate.

Now Vinny has dived into the thick of the cleanup process, too.

On Saturday, November 3 he tweeted this photo, saying "Helping clean up this unbelievable destruction on #StatenIsland." For those who've forgotten, Vinny is from Staten Island, an area that was left devastated by the storm.

It looks like Vinny spent the entire weekend helping out. Yesterday, November 4, he once again tweeted a pic of himself and cleanup crew hard at work, and at the end of the day he wrote, "After a long day in the mud, time for #homeland!" (Good choice of TV shows, Vin!)

And Vinny wasn't the only member of his family helping out. On Sunday, he also tweeted, "If any victims or volunteers need good food on Staten Island my mom and fam are gonna be giving out food at Guyon and Mill Road!!!!"

Good for them! And don't forget, you can catch the entire Jersey Shore cast helping out on MTV's fundraiser special, airing on Thursday, November 15.

Catch the next new episode of Jersey Shore on Thursday, November 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
