Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars Spoiler: How Does Paige Know New Girl Shana?

It’s not all that often that someone befriends Paige (Lindsey Shaw) on Pretty Little Liars. Let’s face it: She’s not the easiest person to get along with. Most people wouldn’t be as willing as Emily (Shay Mitchell) was to overlook the whole drowning incident. But recently, Paige has been a lot … nicer. Even Spencer (Troian Bellisario) took notice. Well, she kind of had to when Paige saved her life, but you get the picture.

And it looks like Paige might keep her hot friendship streak going when new girl Shana (Aeriel Miranda) comes to town. But how is it that Paige and Shana know each other?

We’re not sure how the girls are acquainted, but we are sure that it won’t be a mystery for long. When a fan asked PLL writer Andy Reaser on Twitter if we’re going to find out how they know each other, he responded, “Totes.”

OMG, are you totes excited to find out their history? Do you think it has to do with Alison (Sasha Pieterse), swimming, soccer or some other sport Paige participated in, you know, to get out all her anger back in the day?

Do you get the feeling that the girls will be friends, or could they have a bad history? Maybe Emily wasn’t the first person to stand in Paige’s way of becoming team captain?

Let’s hope that the new Paige doesn’t revert back to her old ways.

Catch the return of PLL Season 3 on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
