Back in Storybrooke, apparently Henry's (Jared Gilmore) life has been in danger, because the press release explains that "in order to protect Henry from further danger, Regina [Lana Parrilla] and Mr. Gold [Robert Carlyle] must put David's [Josh Dallas] life in jeopardy in an attempt to put him in contact with Mary Margaret across the lands to give her vital information that could help her and Emma return through the portal back to Storybrooke."
Interesting. We assume David putting his life in danger is the "great risk" Ginnifer Goodwin hinted at when she mentioned that Mary Margaret and David do find a way to communicate across worlds. We wonder what the method is. Why is it so dangerous?
Also interesting: Why is Mr. Gold helping Regina with this? And why is it important to get Mary Margaret and Emma back to protect Henry? Obviously it would be nice for him to have his bio mom and grandmother back, but is it something more than that? Can they, specifically, protect him in a way Regina and David can't? And how does this connect to Regina and Gold planning to kill anyone who enters the portal in Episode 9?
Speculate about what it all means in the comments below.
