‘90s Heartthrob Andrew Keegan Sues Over Alleged Bouncer Beatdown
10 Things I Hate About You star Andrew Keegan has at least that many beefs with LA restaurant James’ Beach, saying that bouncers at the famous eatery viciously attacked him.
TMZ reports that Andrew has filed a lawsuit — against the restaurant and its security team — with the L.A. County Superior Court. He claims that the guards attacked him in 2010, even choking him; and he’s asking for at least $25,000 in damages.
The paperwork Andrew submitted makes no mention of what provoked the alleged assault.
As TMZ points out, the Venice, Calif., restaurant is where Paul Rudd and Jason Segel had a fish-taco date in the 2009 movie I Love You, Man.
Andrew, now 33, has appeared in a few TV roles and direct-to-DVD movies recently; but he’s best known for his roles in the films Independence Day and O, and the TV show 7th Heaven, as well as his part in 10 Things. And who could forget the '90s classic Camp Nowhere?
