Kandi Burruss Was “Offended” By Kim Zolciak’s Remarks About Her New House, Says Sweetie Is Partially to Blame
On the Season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss invited Kim Zolciak over to her new home to check it out, and Kim was less than thrilled about her pal’s new crib.
In her first BravoTV.com blog of Season 5, Kandi revisits some of Kim’s questionable remarks, and let’s just say that our girl Kandi is not pleased.
She writes, “When Kim came by the house with Sweetie, I was offended by some of the things she and Sweetie said. Kim said Sweetie told her she needed to lock her doors when she got off of my exit, because I lived in the hood. I was very irritated by that, because I was thinking, ‘Where the f— do you live, Sweetie?’”
We don’t know exactly where Sweetie lives, but Kandi makes a good point. You know what they say about people that live in glass houses …
And while Kandi may have kept her thoughts to herself during Kim’s visit, she continued to lay everything out in her blog.
“Oh I can't forget this one!,” she wrote, “At one point I found myself defending my side of town and said, ‘There are a lot of wealthy people that live in this area,’ and Sweetie said, ‘Like drug dealers.’ I wasn't feeling it at all,” Kandi says.
Preach, girl! Your house is beautiful and you worked very hard for it. Don’t let Kim and Sweetie make you forget that!
Kandi faults Kim for what she said, but she also points out that the wigged wonder could be easily influenced by Sweetie.
Kandi reveals, “In my opinion, the stuff that Sweetie says to Kim adds to the whole racist theory people have about Kim. If Kim has a black friend that feeds her bullsh— that certain areas of town are ‘hood’ or ‘ghetto,’ then that's what she's going to run with.”
