The former American Idoljudge denies that she had Pray Dodaj canned for disturbing her privacy at a German hotel and asking for the singer’s signature. Early this morning, J.Lo tweeted about the alleged incident, writing, “C’mon thought you knew me better than this.. Would never get anyone fired over an autograph. 1st I heard of this was on twitter. #hurtful.”
The singer’s rep told TMZ, “Jennifer always goes out of her way to meet and greet fans as evidenced by her recent ‘tweet 2 meet’ engagements backstage, as well as stopping to sign autographs and say hello to hotel staff.”
A source close to J.Lo informed TMZ that Pray did approach the superstar at the hotel, but no autograph was asked for. The maid reportedly “barged” into Jennifer’s room without warning and was promptly removed by security over safety concerns.
Management at hotel Melia Duesseldorf, where the whole thing went down, has since told J. Lo’s camp that no one was fired, but that Pray was relocated to a different property recently to work.
