Pretty Little Liars Winter Premiere Spoiler: Hanna’s [SPOILER] Returns!
We rarely get to see the extended family members of the main characters on Pretty Little Liars, but according to one actress, someone we’ve only met once in all three seasons is making her return on the Season 3 winter premiere (Season 3, Episode 14: “She’s Better Now”, airing January 8).

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Betty Buckley revealed that she will be making her another appearance on PLL as Hanna’s (Ashley Benson) grandmother, Regina Marin.
“I call her Grandma Reg,” says Betty. “She’s an Oklahoma rancher who was a glamour girl in her day; she’s really outspoken and very hilarious. She’s kind of over the top and very protective of Hanna.”
It’s about time someone came in to protect one of the Liars! Regina is Hanna’s paternal grandmother, and she has always adored Hanna and preferred Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) for her son instead of his new wife Isobel.
We can’t help but wonder if this means that Hanna’s lying, backstabbing step-sister Kate will be back in the winter season. We never got to the bottom of that story involving Kate, Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) sister Melissa (Torrey DeVitto), and their experience at summer camp together. Could their shared history include Alison (Sasha Pieterse) too?
