The Real Catfights of Beverly Hills, Season 3, Episode 1: “Down and Left Out in Beverly Hills”

Jealousy, impatience, anger, annoyance: All sweet, sweet fodder for the most sensational catfights. When the women are swillin' the ol' haterade, we've got your ringside coverage. Here are the highlights from Season 3, Episode 1 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, “Down and Left Out in Beverly Hills.” Get ready to rumble!

INSTIGATOR: Lisa Vanderpump
WHY: Lisa invites everyone to her Villa Blanca party except Adrienne Maloof. Then, Lisa isn’t quite sure how to interpret the massive flower arrangement that Adrienne sends.
WINNER: Both of them! Lisa has a right to invite whoever she wants to her party, and it’s not like she and Adrienne have been on good terms of late. And sure, it’s weird to send flowers to an event that you weren’t invited to, but we’re clinging to the belief that Adrienne meant it as a magnanimous gesture and not to make Lisa feel guilty. At least, let’s hope that’s the case.

INSTIGATOR: Neither but the awkwardness from last season still lingers.
WHY: Kim Richards hits the road as soon Brandi Glanville comes over to talk to her.
WINNER: Again, both. We would give the victory to Brandi, since she makes the effort to say hi to Kim, before Kim goes sprinting off in the other direction to find Yolanda (see ya!). But then Brandi’s comments to the camera about how Kim holds her responsible for her addictions seem mean-spirited. Sure, Kim could have made a more graceful exit, but we still admire that she knew to avoid the potentially volatile situation. So we’re calling it a draw!

WHY: Right after learning that Brandi is coming to Kyle Richards’s party, Kim says she won’t be attending.
WINNER: Kyle. Kyle now appears to be making an effort to reach out to Kim, so we wish that Kim could at least find a way to attend the party for Portia’s sake. And if Kim feels resentment toward Kyle, she should at least say that to Kyle instead of keeping it bottled up. Then again, addressing issues before they flare up is not really the way these two handle things, is it?
