The Vampire Diaries

How Were the Ratings For Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 5, “The Killer”?

What’s in a number? Well, TV ratings are pretty important to advertisers, execs, and everyone else in the biz, but we just like to know how many millions of eyeballs were watching The Vampire Diaries along with us — and getting a little teary at Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) super bro-y moment at the end of Season 4, Episode 5, “The Killer.”

According to TV by the Numbers, 2.977 million people tuned it. That’s down a bit from the previous week’s 3.17 million, but still going strong! These numbers obviously don’t take into account the number of people who watch later on their DVRs (blasphemy!) or stream the next day from the The CW’s site. (Hey, we’re repeat watchers, too!)

All in all, TVD is still one of the The CW’s highest-rated shows. Now if you’ll excuse us, we have to get back to streaming.
