The Voice Season 3’s Bryan Keith: “There’s No Gimmicks With Me” — Exclusive

For eight contestants on The Voice Season 3, last night was the end of their journey. But for those who made it into the Top 12, it’s just the beginning.

Team Adam’s Bryan Keith was one of the lucky few moving forward. In last night’s live results show, America voted for the classic rocker to continue on in the competition, and he couldn’t be happier.

“It’s a dream come true,” he told Wetpaint Entertainment on the red carpet after the show. “I was just praying that people would just connect with me, just like a human being in life. If I can connect with you and gain your trust and help you see that I’m a genuine and honest person, then it must shine through my music, and that must be what happened.”

And it did. In Monday night’s episode, Bryan tackled The Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” in a touching performance that had the crowd and coaches cheering.

Bryan hopes to continue on a purist path, picking tunes that really speak to him over flashier songs that might make for a more visually appealing performance.

“I’m just going to keep making sure that people want more of me by being a real person no matter what,” he told us. “There’s no gimmicks with me, no BS, and I’m going to keep going.”
