New York City's most alluring homicide detective has experienced quite the transformation throughout the past five seasons, and she currently looks hotter and more stylish than ever.
“The work wardrobe is always grounded in who Beckett is, and who she is, is a very interesting, complex woman,” Luke explained in an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment. “I never want to go [with] dead-on cop clothes with her because it just doesn't, for me, reflect the color of the character, or the nature of the show itself.”
So what does Luke try to convey through Beckett's wardrobe? A combination of personality traits, ranging from feminine to rock star with a little bit of hardcore. And, according to Luke, there's always that "kick ass element."
“I really see her shopping everywhere," he told us. "She's shopping in New York, all over town. To me, Beckett is the epitome of high/low shopping."
