BP, whose real name is Lee Najjar, spoke with the Atlanta Journal Constitution in a brief phone interview last week and insisted that the whole thing was just a big misunderstanding.
Even though he was arrested for not maintaining that pesky system, Big Poppa claims that he resolved the issue as soon as he knew it was a problem, but his lawyer failed to inform the judge that everything had been fixed.
“It was all stupid and silly,” he told the the AJC. “It’s been taken care of.”
Hmm, we know Big Poppa is out of the clink now, but something about this story still seems fishy. What kind of lawyer “forgets” to tell a judge that his client fixed the problem in question?
