Pretty Little Liars Spoiler: When Will We Find Out More About Lucas and Mona’s Relationship?

We have a lot of questions heading into the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 winter season. One of them concerns what exactly is going on between Lucas (Brendan Robinson), the creepy loner, and Mona (Janel Parrish), the queen of madness. When will we learn more about this troublesome twosome with a shared history?

We know from previews that Mona will be released from Radley Sanitarium and back attending Rosewood High in the Season 3B premiere (Season 3, Episode 14: “She’s Better Now”, airing January 8). That’s sure to rile up the Liars, but Brendan Robinson tells TVLine that her return will impact “everybody involved with this whole situation, including Lucas.”

Ever since Aria (Lucy Hale) found Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) pills in Lucas’s camera bag in Season 3, Episode 5: “That Girl is Poison,” we’ve suspected that he had something to do with the “A” team. Also, earlier in Season 3, the Liars found photos taken of them plastered all over one of their cars, showing them standing over Alison’s empty grave. Who’s handy with a camera? Lucas.

“We’re going to learn a little bit more about Lucas’ relationship with Mona,” says Brendan. He adds that Lucas will be making “some kind of confession. But I can’t say to who, or how or what it involves.”

We have a feeling that Lucas might confess his involvement with Mona and/or the night Emily (Shay Mitchell) was drugged, and he might confess it all to Hanna (Ashley Benson), his former friend who he had a nice moment with in the Halloween episode (Season 3, Episode 13: “This Is a Dark Ride”).

Do you think Lucas is one of the good guys or evil like Toby? Share your thoughts in the comments!
