The Voice’s Adriana Louise Talks Her Future on the Show: “I Want to Be Able to Sing My Face Off”

After coach Christina Aguilera saved Adriana Louise from elimination in last week’s episode of The Voice Season 3, the singer was determined to prove her worth this week.

In last night’s live show, Adriana picked a Carrie Underwood hit that showed off her impressive range.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the singer on the red carpet for last night’s show and she gave us the inside scoop on her plans moving forward.

Wetpaint Entertainment: How do you feel at this point in the competition?

Adriana Louise: I just wanted to have fun, get a little sassiness, just really have fun with it and perform. I wanted to give a good performance and I think I did. I was so worried. I was like 'Is there going to be white tape so I don't fall down, going down the stairs?'

What do you hope to show American in the weeks to come?

I'm really, really wanting to show that I can do an epic power ballad. I live for those. I want to be able to sing my face off. I didn't really get to show this side of me but I play guitar and mandolin. I really want to show that too.

How does it feel to have made it this far?

I didn't even think I was going to make it past the open call. I was in line with 10,000 people. Every step of the way has been like, 'Me?' I have not done anything like this. I haven't performed in like 3 years. It's pretty freaking sweet to be in the Top 12 on The Voice because I never saw it happening.
