The four men looked like they stepped out of the ‘70s, with authentic, colorful attire. Trevin Hunte,Nicholas David, andCody Belew all embraced the era with their coach, donning colored bell-bottom pants, crazy-patterned shirts, and vests, but Trev and Cee Lo’s matching afro wigs really took the cake.
However, Cee Lo’s all-white outfit was quite something, and when Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the coach on the red carpet after the show, he was happy to explain his many amazing outfits, including last night’s performance attire!
“It was very fun. A lot of those outfits are inspired by those eras, and I really feel that the elders, the great ones, they were just the best,” he dished. “Also, I’m a bigger fan than I am anything. I love the Bee Gees — love ‘em, love ‘em, love ‘em. I used to have a Bee Gees lunch box when I was a kid.”
And it’s safe to say that this isn’t the last time he’ll wear a crazy outfit. Each week, the singer comes out in something better and more outrageous than the previous week, and he’s in on the joke.
“It’s really a bunch of fun to dress up. I’m like a big kid,” he spilled. “I just like to make people laugh and give people joy, and singing is a big part of this show and I’ve been able to do that. I think it’s safe to say that a percentage of people tune in weekly to see what I’m going to have on.”
