The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 6, “We All Go a Little Mad Sometimes” — 5 Questions We Want Answered

The Vampire Diaries always leaves us guessing, especially now that they’ve turned Elena (Nina Dobrev) into a murderer. We have tons of questions that we hope will be answered in Season 4, Episode 6, “We All Go a Little Mad Sometimes.”

Did Klaus find the sword?
Sheesh, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) made it to Italy in record time. He had some compelled people helping him with the digging project, and he’s already back in Mystic Falls at the start of Season 4, Episode 6. So does he have Alexander’s sword, or did Rebekah (Claire Holt) lie to him? (We hope so! Then he’d have a reason to undagger her!)

Why is Elena hallucinating?
Can Elena even go in her bathroom without experiencing horrific visions? At the ends of Season 4, Episode 5, she saw a mess of blood smeared all over the place, and in Season 4, Episode 6, she starts hallucinating that her shower is dripping blood. According to Klaus, it has something to do with killing a hunter, but how do you get rid of it?

Is Jeremy going to hate vampires now?
There once was a time when Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) wanted to be a vampire, but lately he’s gotten sick of all their deadly drama. Connor’s (Todd Williams) death triggered some new invisible ink to appear on Jer’s hand, but will the little Gilbert embrace the new role? Would he really go after the Salvatores... or even his own sister?

Is Caroline going to be in on the sire bond-breaking plan?
For some reason — ahem, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) — Tyler (Michael Trevino) kept Caroline (Candice Accola) in the dark about his desire to free all the other hybrids from Klaus’s sire bond. We don’t know why. She’s an excellent planner. Now that she’s in on the secret, will Tyler utilize his girlfriend to get close to Klaus — throwing the OV off the scent of exactly what’s going on with his hybrid army?

Are Elena and Stefan going to break up?
Things look grim for Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena. First, they’re writing in the journals when they should be talking out their feelings with each other. Communication is so important in a relationship. Nex, Elena is hallucinating, but that doesn’t stop her from having some “steamy moments” with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) — or is that what causes them? Either way, we’re not sure the couple will last through the episode.
