Real Housewives of New York

Carole Radziwill Thinks of Her RHONY Co-Stars as “Colleagues,” Not Friends

As one of the new cast members on The Real Housewives of New York Season 5, Carole Radziwill has spoken up about her reasons for joining the popular franchise. As viewers pointed out, Carole didn’t really fit in among the small business owners and philanthropists that make up the RHONY cast. As a writer, she has said, she was attracted to the “spectacle” of the series.

Possibly making things worse, in a new interview with Yahoo!, Ali Wentworth elicits a comment from Carole that probably won’t sit well with her co-stars. At all.

When asked, “Do you feel close to them?” about her fellow castmates, Carole responded, “I have a certain affinity for them. We’re like colleagues, we’re an ensemble cast.”

Completely absent from her reply is the word “friends,” or any suggestion that she enjoys the pleasure of her co-stars’ company. While Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan may not be surprised, we can’t help but wonder if Heather Thomson will be hurt by Carole’s indifference.
