Derek Underwood’s Mom Speaks Out Against Farrah Abraham: Derek Was Not the Person She Is Portraying Him To Be
MTV's Teen Moms have led challenging lives full of Uggs and drama, but Farrah Abraham takes the cake. This poor gal had to raise her daughter all on her lonesome in the aftermath of her baby daddy Derek Underwood's death, and to make matters worse she doesn't get along with Derek's parents.
Farrah's new memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended, chronicles her dramatic and fraught relationship with Derek. While Farrah makes it clear that she cared deeply for her baby daddy, she also blames him for a lot of their problems. As you might expect, Derek's mom, Stormie Clark, is less than thrilled.
"Derek loved Farrah,” Stormie tells OK! Magazine. “He would have never laid a hand on her. They argued just like any normal teenage couple, but he was not the person that she is portraying him to be.”
Despite the occasional on-screen hang sesh with Derek's dad and step-mom, Farrah hasn't had anything to do with Derek's family since his passing.
“This feud stems from when Farrah was dating Derek,” a source tells OK!. “She and Stormie did not get along, because according to his mother, Farrah was abusive to Derek and rude to his family.”
Last season on Teen Mom, Stormie filed for visitation rights, and Farrah was so upset that she hasn't let Stormie come into contact with Sophia since. We don't exactly see a reunion in the works any time soon — especially in light of this recent drama!
