Klaine vs. Finchel: Whose Glee Post-Breakup Reunion Was the Most Awkward?

Is it just us, or was Klaine and Finchel’s big post-breakup reunion during Glee Season 4, Episode 6: “Glease” one of the most uncomfortable things you’ve ever had to watch?

Seeing your ex for the first time is bound to be awkward — especially when the split was so dramatic — and both couples’ reunions definitely fit that bill.

Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele) at least managed to talk to each other a little bit, though they really couldn’t seem to think of much to say. Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) were virtually silent, and the two could barely manage to look at each other.

Kurt only came to McKinley because he wanted closure on ending things with Blaine. But when his ex finally chased him down and tried to explain the real story of what happened with his cheating incident, Kurt more or less plugged his ears and refused to hear any of it.

Rachel went to Mckinley feeling little need for closure, but she ended up leaving with things in a much worse place than before she arrived. Finn caught her in tears over Brody (Dean Geyer) and the hurt of watching her move on so quickly was too much for him to bear.

Finn mandated that the two of them cut off all contact. If they’re forced to see each other at all, they won’t even speak.

Obviously, neither of the reunions went well. All four of them are still very much in pain. But with so much post-breakup awkwardness, which couple do you think got the worst of it? Finchel or Klaine: which reunion was the most uncomfortable for you to watch?
