Nashville’s Top 3 Music Moments From Season 1, Episode 6: “You’re Gonna Change (Or I’m Gonna Leave)”

Nashville packs so many amazing song performances into each episode that it’s hard to keep track of them all. And while we love each and every one, life is all about choices, so here are our top 3 music moments from Season 1, Episode 6: “You’re Gonna Change (Or I’m Gonna Leave).” (Psst! You can buy them all here!)

3. Avery performs “Kiss”
We hate to admit it, since Avery (Jonathan Jackson) is not our favorite person at the moment, but we actually dug his song this week, and we’re not surprised that the industry is starting to take notice. Okay, so his song isn’t as awesome as a Garlett song might have been, but still. So the question now is, can Scarlett (Clare Bowen) finally kick this cougar-loving guy to the curb for good? Fingers crossed!

2. Rayna sings “Buried Under” at Liam’s place
We’re not suggesting that Rayna (Connie Britton) needs to toss back a few in order to give a good performance, but that whiskey at Liam’s pad did seem to shake her out of her comfort zone, as she sounded as good as she ever has. How the head of the label can be at all resistant to letting Liam produce her album is shocking to us.

1. Juliette and Sean harmonize on “Love Like Mine”
Who knew nice guy Sean and bad girl Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) could be so cute together? We admit that when Sean was reaching for his guitar on the jet, we initially hoped we was going to kiss her. But we were then pleasantly surprised that the jock could actually sing! Okay, so maybe it’s a tad stalkerish that he knows Juliette’s songs, but we’ll let it slide.

The songs were great in this episode!

I wasn't crazy about the songs in this episode.
