Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Power Rankings for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3, Episode 2: “The Higher the Heel, the Closer to God”

Who’s livin’ large, and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 3, Episode 2: “The Higher the Heel, the Closer to God,” in our weekly Power Rankings. Let the countdown begin!

Ranking: 7
Last week: 6
Here’s why: It’s a little unfair to judge Yolanda, since we didn’t get to see her interacting with the others. And we’ll admit that sending that teddy bear to Portia’s party was thoughtful. That said, all Yolanda really did in this episode was tell Gigi not to eat and then make comments about her eyes that we’d rather not get into. So let’s hope it’s just taking Yolanda a few episodes to get into the swing of things.

Here’s why: Taylor barely avoided the bottom slot this week because she got everyone involved in a fun charity event. But her behavior at Portia’s party was certainly worthy of landing in the basement on this list, with the way she kept antagonizing Brandi. We get it, Taylor: You don’t like the woman. Message received.

Ranking: 5

Here’s why: Adrienne claims she wants to be on better terms with Lisa, but then she calls Lisa “immature,” which seems like a step in the opposite direction. And Adrienne was the one who accused Lisa of selling stories during the Season 2 reunion, so we can understand why Lisa doesn’t feel like she needs to apologize. However, we did love that Paul and Adrienne were able to turn shoe-shopping into a fun outing, since most guys aren’t crazy about buying shoes.

Here’s why: Maybe she should have let Taylor’s snub go, rather than blabbing about it to Kyle and Camille. But still, we give Brandi credit for not confronting Taylor and making things even worse. (This is Brandi we’re talking about, after all.) In fact, we’re just relieved that no one got tossed into the pool, as Brandi had mentioned that she might do.

Ranking: 3

Here’s why: So maybe it was a bit of a cop-out that Lisa came and went so quickly from Portia’s party. Still, we can’t imagine that anything productive would have been accomplished between her and Adrienne with everyone else around, so we think Lisa made the right call. And if we ever discover that someone stole our llama, we now know who to accuse.

Ranking: 2

Here’s why: Should Kim really land at number 2 just for showing up to a party that she didn’t RSVP for? Well, we’re also giving Kim credit for braving all the questions about her recovery, including Camille constantly asking about her ex-boyfriend Ken.

Here’s why: Two straight weeks in the top slot! And Kyle was the clear winner this week, as she managed to throw an amazing party for Portia, even if the unicorns were lacking. We were most impressed by the way that she walked away when Taylor tried to bait her into commenting on Brandi’s sex comment from last week. Kyle also gets bonus points for having a husband who can totally pull off the high-heeled look.
