Jill, who was fired from the show after its fourth season but has hinted that she might consider coming back, was tagged in a tweet by @CountessLuAnnDL. The tweet read, “Me and @JillZarin shopping” and attached a photo that was obviously taken by a professional photographer. Jill responded, “Love!” and retweeted the tweet, seemingly unaware that it was a fake account.
The only problem? That isn’t the real Countess. (LuAnn’s actual Twitter handle is @CountessLuAnn.) This Twitter user is an imposter who tries to present themselves as the real Countess, and apparently they tricked poor Jill into thinking they were the real deal.
Jill isn’t the only celebrity that the faux Countess has been tweeting at. He or she will often tag the Countess’s fellow RHONY stars like Bethenny Frankel in her tweets and pretend that they are the real deal.
For someone who wants to be the Countess, that’s not very chic.
