Pretty Little Liars Season 3B: Breaking Down the Clues in the Shocking New Promo
There’s nothing like a new Pretty Little Liars promo to get us excited for the upcoming episodes. And the latest for Season 3B is jam-packed, full of new scenes and frightening situations.
Here is a roundup of all the new clues we spotted.
Mona is still dangerous. In one snippet, Mona (Janel Parrish) is standing in the middle of Rosewood High School, holding up a knife, as other students glare at her in horror. The Liars show up and make the same shocked faces, and Mona looks … confused.
Mona is still a beotch. She tells Spencer (Troian Bellisario), “You’ve been off your ‘A’ game lately,” to which Spencer replies, “This is not a game to me. At all.”
Emily’s note. Emily (Shay Mitchell) is seen reading a postcard with scrawled red writing on it. Could this be another one of “A”’s warnings written in red? But why just to Ems?
Someone’s in the hospital. The four Liars are shown swiftly opening a hospital bed’s curtain, looking surprised by what they see on the bed, which might even be no one.
That marathon again... In the most recent promo, the Liars were wearing the kind of stickers worn by marathon runners. Now, we see that Mona will be working a booth at whatever event this is, sponsored by Rosewood High.
The other “A” team member. In a black hoodie scene between Toby (Keegan Allen) and Mona, Mona tells him, “I’m not the one calling the shots.” We find this ridiculously intriguing, because we’re dying to know who’s giving these two orders. Could it be the blonde in the red dress?
Paige hunts for “A.” In one scene, Emily and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) are running around a courtyard at night, chasing after Toby in his hoodie. They’re both breathless, as Paige says, “I swear I had him.” Toby, meanwhile, actually looks scared as he hides behind a corner.
Trouble for Ezria. In the halls of Rosewood High, Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria get into a serious argument. He tells her, “You are the one I’m supposed to trust,” before walking away from her in a huff. Could he find out about Maggie and his alleged son much sooner than we imagined?
Spencer screams at Mona. In an odd scene, Spencer screams at Mona out of absolute rage, running at her in attack. Wren (Julian Morris) (!) and another boy have to hold her back physically.
Wesria? As we pointed out earlier, Wesley and Aria are holding hands as they run away from someone in the middle of the day.
Spencer is losing it. Spencer seems increasingly stressed, and might be unraveling. She tells Aria at one point, “We should stop blaming ‘A’ for everything that goes wrong in our lives, and start blaming ourselves.”
