Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars Spoiler Roundup: What Happens to Alison in Season 3B?

Pretty Little Liars Season 3B is a little over a month away (January 8), and we’re already counting down the days. For now, let’s take a look at what we know is coming up in Season 3B for our favorite mean girl: Alison (Sasha Pieterse).

Alison visits Aria. In this preview of 3B, we see Aria (Lucy Hale) looking shocked as she sees none other than Alison in her bedroom one day. Alison turns around and smiles, but what could this mean? As we’ve pointed out, Alison has “visited” each of the Liars except for Aria, but it’s unclear whether or not it was really her or if it was just a hallucination.

The candy stripers. Speaking of hallucinations, in Season 1, Hanna (Ashley Benson) saw Ali while she was in the hospital. Ali was wearing an old-fashioned candy striper uniform, the same kind that Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Aria later used to gain access to the hospital’s basement files and Ali’s autopsy report. In this photo, we see that Hanna and Emily (Shay Mitchell) will be wearing those same uniforms. Could they be digging for more clues about Alison’s mysterious death?

Alison and Spencer, reunited. During filming for Season 3B, Sasha tweeted about getting up early with Troian to film scenes. And, PLL writer Joseph Dougherty tweeted a photo showing Spencer and Ali sitting in church together. Are these purely flashback scenes or is Ali really back?

“The Ali scenes.” PLL writer Andy Reaser recently tweeted that his favorite parts of 3B are “The Ali scenes.” Yes, that’s plural! So clearly Alison plays a major part of the second half of the season.

Alison and Cece, reunited? In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, Sasha told us that CeCe (Vanessa Ray) will definitely be back this season, and that “[Cece]’s training me, and there's some scary things that go on and things that shouldn’t have happened.” We presume this means we’ll see flashbacks to their time together.
