The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Explain Why They Fight So Much on The View

In case you missed the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on The View this morning, we’ll catch you up on their candid conversation.

First, not all the stars of the show appeared: Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Brandi Glanville were the ‘wives who sat down to chat.

They explained what made them want to join the Bravo franchise in the first place: Kyle was comfortable in front of the camera, Lisa thought it would help fill the void after her children left the nest, and Brandi needed some cash after divorcing Eddie Cibrian.

But they’ve had so much turmoil over the last few seasons, what keeps them coming back? For example, few people thought Taylor Armstrong would return after her husband Russell’s suicide last year. “She’s a single mom now, and she needs to support her child,” Kyle explained. Lisa added that the ladies themselves help each other through the tough times: “We’ve become like a family.”

Well, not everyone gets along so well. Adrienne Maloof and Lisa are still fighting after Season 2’s reunion, when the former accused the restaurateur of selling stories to the tabloids. Lisa didn’t say whether she gave marriage advice to Adrienne, who split from husband Paul Nassif this summer, but she did say, “Clearly she wouldn’t have taken it.”

Lisa also admitted watching the ladies’ interviews months later could be hurtful, but it’s not what causes the drama. “A lot of our stuff, the majority happens off camera,” Kyle agreed. “And then when we’re back on camera is why you see the tension.”
