Amanda Seyfried and Hugh Jackman “Sexualized Everything” on the Les Miserables Set
If you watch Les Miserables next month — and you probably should, since it looks amazing and we’re guessing it’s gonna nab some Oscars — keep in mind the off-set goofiness of the serious on-screen actors.
Amanda Seyfried talked to Vanity Fair about her role as Cosette, the adopted daughter of Hugh Jackman's character, Jean Valjean. She said it’s true that everyone loves Hugh and there’s nothing bad anyone could ever say about him.
“He isn’t human,” Amanda said. “I bet you anything he’s got some kind of superhuman capabilities, beyond just being just the kindest, gentlest soul I’ve come across.” Aww!
She added that they share the same inappropriate sense of humor, so they created alternate storylines to give Cosette and Jean Valjean a very, ahem, different relationship. “We sexualized everything as much as we could,” Amanda said. “It was really funny, the moments we could find ... It’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.”
So if they ever want to release a porn version of Les Mis, they probably have some raw footage to use from Amanda and Hugh.
