Real Housewives Cast Holds an Intervention For Taylor Armstrong Over Her Drinking, Says Source — Exclusive
We’re only a few episodes into Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and so far, two of Taylor Armstrong’s co-stars have taken issue with her drinking. First, Brandi Glanville told the press Taylor arrived “seemingly drunk” to the 4th birthday party for Kyle Richards’ daughter Portia, which was shown in the second episode. During the third episode, newcomer Yolanda Fosteralso implied Taylor was overly intoxicated at the dinner party she and husband David threw at their home. Now, a RHoBH insider tells us Brandi and Yolanda won’t be the only Housewives to address Taylor’s drinking this season. In fact, the insider says the women were so concerned about Taylor’s health, they held an on-camera intervention.
“Later this season, you’ll see most of the women go to Ojai, California for what was supposed to be a relaxing spa weekend,” the insider exclusively reveals to Wetpaint Entertainment. “Instead, it becomes an intervention about Taylor’s drinking. They all think her drinking has grown out of control and they sit her down and give it to her straight. The intervention was definitely filmed. Everyone just hopes it makes it to air so Taylor’s problem can finally be out in the open.” Did the intervention actually work? Not really, in the insider’s opinion. “I don’t think Taylor’s gotten healthier since the intervention,” the insider shares. “I think she’s just gotten a little smarter. For the rest of the season, she tries to watch herself when the cameras are around — but as soon as they’re done filming, I’ve seen her start to drink more heavily again. When she’s not filming, she does what she wants.”
Indeed, just two weeks ago, Taylor did an interview with an Australian radio station while on vacation in Mexico. Despite the fact the interview was conducted during the day, Taylor was slurring her words and sounded inebriated to many. “The women are frustrated,” says the insider. “They understand she’s been through a lot, but they want Taylor to start taking responsibility for her health. Until she does, there’s not much else they can do.”
