Should Glee’s Blaine Rejoin the Warblers?

Come to the Dark Side, Blaine (Darren Criss). You know you want to.

During Glee Season 4, Episode 7: “Dynamic Duets,” the Dalton Academy Warblers did everything in their power to convince Blaine to transfer back to Dalton.

They convinced him to put on a Warbler jacket. They let him lead them in an impromptu performance of a Kelly Clarkson song. They went out of their way to remind Blaine of his glory days as Warbler lead — and, for a guy whose life lately has been nothing but pain and heartbreak, the idea of escaping back to Dalton certainly seemed like a tempting offer.

After all, Blaine only transferred to McKinley in the first place so that he could be with Kurt (Chris Colfer). Now that Kurt and Blaine broke up, everything at the high school only reminds Blaine of his ex.

It’s painful, and sometimes he feels all alone. But is heading back to Dalton really the right choice? It’s tempting, for sure, but with both Hunter (Nolan Gerard Funk) and Sebastian(Grant Gustin) clamoring for solos, Blaine wouldn’t get the free reign as Warbler lead that he enjoyed so much last year.

Plus, the New Directions need him now. He can’t quit on them right before Sectionals! Then, there’s the simple issue of screentime. If Blaine goes back to Dalton, there is no way we’ll be able to see him as much. And a lack of Darren Criss on Glee sounds very depressing indeed.

What do you think: Is Blaine better off with the Warblers, or should he stick it out and stay with the New Directions?
