Lindsay Lohan Regrets Nothing and Is Ready For Her Real Comeback
She went from being the adorable actress in The Parent Trap to the teen-gone-wrong in what felt like a matter of hours, but Lindsay Lohan is not ready to give up on her acting career quite yet.
Lindsay sat down with Us Weekly to talk about her comeback and what she has learned from the many arrests, family fights, stints in rehab and more. Could we finally see the return of the red-headed actress from Mean Girls?
“I want to be known as an actress, not a troubled starlet. People can think what they want, and the only thing I can do is prove them wrong,” Lindsay said. Those are some big words. We have to say that we are liking her confidence.
But what about the past few years? Can someone ever really recover from that? Lindsay certainly thinks so:
“[I regret] nothing, because then I wouldn't have been able to cry in scenes at the drop of a hat. I have it tattooed: LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS. I'm not saying I wanted to go to a jail cell, but I've drawn from all of it.”
And when it comes to her latest project, Liz & Dick, Lindsay felt she could relate to Elizabeth Taylor. Well, sort of. She tells Us Weekly, “Elizabeth was drunk on sets. I've never been drunk on set, ever. I did my time and I respect the law.”
What do you all think? Is LiLo finally making a comeback, or should they keep her cell warm at the slammer?
