Revenge Review: What Did You Think of Season 2, Episode 8: “Lineage”?

After a painful week away from Revenge, our favorite shoreside drama was back with a bang in an all-new flashback episode. For some, it was a simpler time when singer Daniel Powter professed he’d had a “Bad Day,” but in the Hamptons things were getting all kinds of complicated.

Emily went on her first mission for Takeda where she met Aiden Mathis and a skimpy skirt-wearing Ashley Davenport, who’d taken to hooking to make her rent. Throw in some Russians and Aiden’s missing sister, and we’ve got a party!

Back in Montauk, Carl Porter Sr. was taking care of business with Kenny and Nate Ryan’s old man. Now that we know Mr. Ryan Sr. is at the bottom of the ocean (and the boys think Carl’s to blame), things are all starting to come together.

But the real story was Victoria’s horrific childhood, which came to light when her mother paid a visit to Grayson Manor. Naturally, the Ice Queen had planned the whole thing, but that didn’t stop us from looking on in horror at her flashback-within-a-flashback.

And next week we’re gearing up for an even more shocking week as the winter finale draws near. But what did you think of tonight’s flashback episode? Weigh in below!

I loved tonight's episode!

Meh, it wasn't my favorite.
