Justin Bieber On Why He Wore Overalls With Canada’s Prime Minister, Calls Himself “White Trash”
Justin Bieber is a big supporter of casual Fridays.
The pop star stirred up some controversy on Friday, November 23, when he was photographed shaking hands with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. In the pic, Justin is wearing overalls, a T-shirt, a silver chain, and a backwards baseball cap.
Gawker has apparently declared the Biebs to be the "White Trash Prince." Ouch.
Justin has attempted to explain his laid-back attire, writing, "The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where i was performing at that day."
"I walked straight from my meet-and-greet to him, if you . . .expect me to have a change of clothes let a loan [sic] a suit at that specific time, that's crazy. It wasn't like it was like I was going into his environment — we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash," Justin writes.
The prime minister was presenting the singer with a Diamond Jubilee Medal.
The funniest part might be the Stephen Harper's response, as he tweeted, "In fairness to @justinbieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too. #cdnpoli #beliebers." Love it!
