Spoiler alert! We can’t guarantee these forum spoilers are accurate, but they’ve been pretty spot-on so far...
Rethink everything! We read some early spoilers on The Walking Dead Season 3, Episode 8 midseason finale, "Made to Suffer," but it sounds like they were premature. New spoilers are now circulating about the December 2 episode, and they include bad news for The Governor’s (David Morrissey) already strained relationship with Michonne (Danai Gurira).
AMC previously released a sneak peek showing Michonne discovering The Gov's zombie daughter, Penny. A new promo shows Michonne struggling on the ground during a fight, reaching for a shard of glass. That would go well with new Episode 8 spoilers posted on the Spoil the Dead forum.
In a full play-by-play of Sunday's episode, they write, "Michone hears Penny thumping around and discovers The Governor's secret room. The Governor comes home and begs Michone not to hurt Penny, but Michone shows no mercy and stabs Penny through the head. A brutal fight ensues. The fish tanks wind up crashing down on the floor. Gov tries to pin Michone's arm down in front of one of the newly liberated zombie heads, chomping away. Michone reaches for her sword but it's just out of grasp, so she opts for a shard of glass instead, and stabs The Governor right in the eye. She's about to finish the job when Andrea arrives with gun drawn. The two circle each other and Andrea lets Michone walk away while she tends to Gov and surveys the room."
So, bye bye Penny! She was already dead, but in this world we all die twice. If this is accurate, good for Michonne for stabbing The Gov in the eye, giving him that nice pirate look we love. But Andrea (Laurie Holden)! Sigh. The original spoilers posted by Spoil the Dead hinted to Andrea stabbing The Governor herself, perhaps later this season. But they removed those spoilers as not accurate, and it sounds like Andrea is still choosing The Gov over her friend, at least at this point in the season. Why? She has to figure it all out eventually, but it would be nice if we didn't have to suffer through this. Anyway, Michonne killing Penny could certainly make The Gov angry enough to want to keep this prison/Woodbury fight going, until he exacts revenge on her.
