Why Did Roger Mathews Say That Ronnie Needs a Works Visa and a Green Card?
Ronnie andJWOWW’s fiancéRoger Mathews have developed quite a bromance between them over the past few months (um, they’ve evenshared a bed together), so we’re used to seeing the two guidos swapping playful jabs over the social networks. Even so, Rog’s latest taunt has our eyebrows raised.
After Ronnietweeted a nostalgic picture of himself holding some Malta Goya (a Puerto Rican malt beverage which is also distributed in Pennsylvania) with the caption “Compliment of Moms,” Rog responded with a major tease about the Jersey Shore star’s heritage.
“Your [sic] the only cast member of JS that needs a green card and work visa,” Rogerwrote.
Ronnie, of course, was born in the Bronx so that’s not true at all. His mother Constance Ortiz (who seemingly gave him the beverage), though, is a Puerto Rican native. Even if Ronnie was born in Puerto Rico, Rog should know that it’s a territory of the United States, so he’d still be a citizen. Yeesh!
Considering Ronnie didn’t take the bait on that one and respond, we’re going to assume he just let it slide … for now.
