Glee Season 4 Spoilers: Someone Collapses at Sectionals!

For us, the most exciting part of Thursday’s Glee Season 4, Episode 8: “Thanksgiving” is going to be when Quinn (Dianna Agron) finally makes her big return. But that’s certainly not the only standout event of the night. Episode 8 will also mark the New Directions’ showdown with the Warblers at Sectionals.

The Warblers are singing Flo Rida’s “Whistle” (ew) and One Direction’s “Live While We’re Young” (yay!), while the only New Directions song we’ve heard about so far is that much-hyped performance of PSY’s “Gangnam Style.” So are the New Ds really only singing one song at Sectionals? Something about the whole setup doesn’t feel right...

Whatever the case, it sounds like the New Directions are in for a bumpy ride at Sectionals this year. TV Line is reporting that someone is going to collapse during the competition! Spoiler King Michael Ausiello doesn’t reveal which glee club member is subject to this health scare, but he does tease that “if you caught last week’s episode you probably have a good idea who it is.

If we had to guess, we’d bet that its Marley (Melissa Benoist), who has spent the last couple of episodes either starving herself on some crazy crash diet, or forcing herself to throw up after she does eat.

So does the collapse happen onstage during “Gangnam Style” — or perhaps, does it take place during some mystery New Ds song we have yet to hear about. With a twist like that, the show may have been trying to keep the song under wraps.

What do you think about the new shocking turn of events at Sectionals, and do you think it just might keep the New Directions from winning? We’d hate to see them out of the running after only the first competition, but we’re starting to worry that might just be the case. Guess you can’t really be National champions every year...
