Justin Bieber’s Overalls: Distinctly Biebs or Disrespectful? (POLL)
Ladies and gents, meet November’s most controversial outfit.
Justin Bieber was the honored recipient of a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, a prestigious award honoring “contributions and achievements made by Canadians, who represent the full breadth of [Canada’s] society,” and it was presented to the Biebs by none other than the Canadian Prime Minister himself, Stephen Harper.
Justin’s attire for the auspicious occasion? A white tee, pinstripe coveralls with one strap undone, a chain necklace, and a backward baseball cap.
Harper, on the other hand, appeared quite distinguished in a bespoke black suit, a maroon tie, shiny black shoes, even a lapel pin.
Within minutes of Justin posting a photo of the encounter to Instagram, the Internet blew up with righteous indignation. Gawker called him the “White Trash Prince.” The Daily Mail asked “Would a suit hurt?”
